Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Governance and Administration
    The Trust shall be responsible for the proper governance, management, and administration of all activities in accordance with the Trust Deed, applicable laws, and resolutions passed by the Board of Trustees.
  2. Implementation of Objectives
    The Trust shall plan, execute, and monitor programs and activities strictly in furtherance of its stated charitable objects and purposes.
  3. Financial Management
    The Trust shall maintain proper books of accounts, ensure lawful utilization of funds, prepare financial statements, and comply with all statutory audit, taxation, and regulatory requirements.
  4. Compliance with Law
    The Trust shall ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, including but not limited to trust laws, income tax laws, and other statutory obligations.
  5. Appointment and Supervision
    The Trust shall have the authority to appoint staff, volunteers, committees, or advisors as required and shall supervise their conduct and performance.
  6. Asset Management
    The Trust shall safeguard, manage, and maintain all movable and immovable properties of the Trust and shall ensure that such assets are used solely for charitable purposes.
  7. Transparency and Accountability
    The Trust shall function in a transparent manner and shall ensure accountability in decision-making, financial transactions, and reporting.
  8. Fundraising and Resource Mobilization
    The Trust may raise funds through lawful means, donations, grants, and contributions, ensuring that all funds are used only for the objectives of the Trust.
  9. Representation and Legal Authority
    The Trust shall represent itself before government authorities, donors, courts, and other institutions through authorized Trustees or officers.
  10. Policy Formation
    The Trust shall frame policies, rules, and procedures for effective functioning and may amend them as required in accordance with law.
  11. Conflict of Interest Management
    The Trust shall ensure that no Trustee or member derives personal benefit from Trust activities and shall prevent conflicts of interest.
  12. Monitoring and Evaluation
    The Trust shall periodically review its activities and performance to ensure effective achievement of its objectives.
  13. Record Keeping
    The Trust shall maintain proper records of meetings, resolutions, membership, assets, and statutory filings.
  14. Dissolution Responsibility
    In the event of dissolution, the Trust shall ensure that all remaining assets are transferred to another charitable organization with similar objectives, in accordance with law.
